Villa Amo on Lake Dunstan, New Zealand

on Lake Dunstan

We invite you to come and stay with us in our comfortable lakeside home at Pisa Moorings near Cromwell, and use it as a base to explore the all year round delights of beautiful Central Otago, Queenstown and Wanaka.

The house is constructed of materials that keep it cool in summer, but nice and snug during the winter months.

Heating during the winter is by using water pumped up from the lake and put across a ground source heat pump and then put back into the lake. With its thick ceiling insulation and double glazed windows Villa Amo is a warm homely environment.

Your Accommodation

The spacious guest wing has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, and the other with a double bed. Both are made up with 100% quality cotton bed linen and duvets with pure wool inners, which can be changed if required.

Many conveniences are provided for your comfort, including hair-dryers, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

The equally spacious private bathroom gives you the choice of shower or a luxurious bath. Bathrobes can be found in your wardrobe. Although the full private bathroom is guest share, it is our firm policy to take only one party at a time, so your party will be our only guest while you are with us.

In the morning enjoy an appetising continental and/or traditional cooked breakfast at a time that is convenient to you. Early risers can enjoy startling sunrises while having their breakfast.

We encourage our guests to share our home with us and enjoy a chat over tea or coffee. If you prefer a quiet time, our lounge, with its view of the majestic Pisa Mountains is the ideal place.
